               This is usually provided by your Selling dealership.
Warranty: The best Factory Authorized warranty will cover electronics and electrical
                parts up to 5 years. And mechanical parts up to 20 or even 25 years.
                Not an extended service plan to be included or paid for.

Eventually, all machines require preventative maintenance or repair services.
This would also be your local Authorized Dealer.
How far away is your Authorized Service Center ?

Warranties are only valid when the machine is purchased from an AUTHORIZED DEALER.
Almost all of your better Brands do not allow dealers to sell nor quote price over the net.
A Re-Seller is not an authorized dealer. Not bound by dealer agreements.
                  Not authorized to transfer warranties. Not able to obtain Branded parts.
                  In fact, they are the original owner not you !

Some companies allow internet sales ie: Brother (not Innov-is Line), Singer, Simplicity etc.

Used machines can be readily obtained via E~Bay from their previous owners.
While this can be a sketchy opportunity, it is also a wonderful opportunity to obtain a machine that you may not have considered. You might consider asking if there are service records available. If the machine has been regularly serviced by an authorized service center, chances are you've come into a great opportunity. You might be able to negotiate your purchase pending a service center evaluation. And take the machine to your local dealer and have them take a look at it. Sure there will probably be a fee, but you will have great peace of mind committing to the purchase.

And if you are not sure about the machine, ask your dealer if they have any trade - in machines available. Again, a terrific opportunity.
