KNITTING/CROCHET CLASSES

 

100 BEGINNER KNITTING      3 - 1½ hr classes $49I

Beginner knitting classes will be starting on the following dates for 3 consecutive weeks. We would expect that this class would be for someone who has never knitted before or for someone who has never been taught the basics. This series will include an introduction to the different types of yarn, how to read the label, etc. You will become familiar with needle sizes, knitting terms and special supplies you will need. You will learn how to make a knitting gauge and at the same time how to cast on, learn the knit stitch as well as casting off. For graduation, you will learn how to complete a simple scarf. Supplies will be purchased in the first class. This class is for older teens as well as adults.

200 KNITTING PART II     3 - 1½ hr classes $49I

Now that you have completed your first beginner knitting class here's your chance to continue on with becoming a creative knitter. Learn how to knit new stitches beyond your basic knit and purl that can be used for a scarf or simple vest.

300 KNIT/CROCHET YOUR OWN PROJECT with CARMEL  3 - 1 1/2 Classes  $59I

Now that your an experienced person that knits or crochets, come to our special series with our knitting Angel Carmel. Choose any project and she will help you  choose your yarn and get started ( and completed) on any project. Yarn must be purchased in our store to participate in this series.

If you are having trouble knitting or crocheting any project bring it along and Carmel will give you loving guidance.

This is not a sit and knit project and there is no charge. She will also help you to choose yarn and figure yardage.

Walk-Ins are OK !  Thursdays  & Saturdays  10:00am - 3:00 pm

Sit and knit with Carmel - $20 per hour -- by appointment

 Please register 2 weeks in advance. All classes 2 hours unless otherwise noted. Classes meet at same time each week.

Cancellation 7 days notice for full refund.

Classes delayed 1 week in case of snow. Call our answering machine.
