QUILTING CLASSES
- 100 BEGINNER QUILTING 4 Lessons $59
I
- It’s time to learn to quilt! In this class you learn the basic
skills of quilt making from A-Z, as you construct a charming 9 square or
rail fence wall hanging or lap quilt. You will learn all the
techniques needed to complete a quilt: choosing fabrics, rotary cutting,
piecing, borders, quilting and binding. This four-session workshop will
introduce you to the exciting world of quilt making. Be prepared
for an exciting journey as you discover the joys of quilting!
Sewing machine experience necessary. Sewing machines will be
provided for class but you will need one at home to do your homework.
If you do not have a machine, we do rent machines, or we have very
reasonable machines available for purchase. Please purchase your book
before class, a supply list will be given at registration. Fabrics
will be chosen in class but you are welcome to come in before class to
work with our staff on a one-on-one basis to choose your fabric.

- Learn the tricks that turned quilting on it's ear. No more
cuttiing tedious squares. Use the incredible technique of strip
quilting. See how you can complete a whole bed size quilt in no
tiime at all. Eleanor Burns excels in writing books that are easy to
follow and by sewing mulitiple blocks at the same time see your
quilt grow before your eyes. Some sewing experience is necessary
because you will be doing most of the sewing at home. It's like
potato chips-you can't stop sewing. Please come in to have someone
on our staff help you to pick out fabrics one week before class.

- 300 QUILT YOUR OWN PROJECT
4 Lessons $69 I
- Here’s the opportunity to sew whatever quilt design you would
like. Come in ahead of time to consult with one of our quilt
specialists. She will help you to decide the level quilt you would
like to make as well as help you to choose your fabrics. You can get
lots done with this extra long class and enjoy the companionship of
other quilters.

4 Lessons $69 I
- Whether a beginner quilter of have some experience enjoy your
Sunday afternoons with Barbara learning a wonderful craft. Sewing
machine experience necessary. We will start with reviewing rotary
cutter use and go on to whatever quilting project you would
like--ending in a finished quilt. See Barbara before class to
discuss your selected project

- 300 ONE DAY free motion quilting 10am-4pm $79 I
- Become an expert at machine quilting in just one day. Let our
expert machine quilter quide you in learning the basics of machine
quilting and at the same time become confident in operating your
machine. Learn free-hand quilting, stippling, using a template or
doing your own designs. Supply list will be given at registration.
Machines provided, but you may also choose to bring your own in
working order.
- 400 ADVANCED MACHINE QUILTING CLASS 1 Lessons $79 I
- Now that you know the basics of machine quilting, take this
class to become an Expert Machine Quilter.
- Teri will share with you how to do free hand feathers and how to
adjust your designs. Pre-requisite:
- Eexperience with machine straight stitch and free motion
quilting.
- You may bring your own machine if you wish.
