Paula Reid
to visit our store October 1-3 , 2011
We are pleased to announce that
acclaimed teacher, Paula Reid,
who appeared on “Simply Quilts” will be teaching in our store this fall.
Paula, coming to us from California, will share her expertise in
quilting.
Her visit begins with a free trunk show accompanied by a wine &
cheese tasting
on Saturday October 1st.
We are very privileged to have her in our area and look forward
to welcoming her
on this special occasion.
Registration in advance is must.
Paula will be presenting two workshops, the first:
Sunday from 11am to 5 pm
and the second:
Monday from 10 am to 4 pm.
The workshops are sit & sew
and will feature different quilts and different techniques.
The basic quilt is just the tip of the iceberg.
Kits will be available for you to choose from.
You will also be given a supply list to bring to the class.

There is a maximum that we can accommodate in the store,
so early pre-registration is necessary.
The Reception is free however registration is necessary.

This
workshop features instruction in weaving with raw edges, piecing and
Trapunto to make a striking contemporary block using beautiful Batiks.
Kits will be available.
Choice will be made at registration.
WINTER HOLIDAYS KALEIDOSCOPE

to 4 pm - workshop fee $89
Originally designed for Alex Anderson’s “Simply Quilts” TV series, this
is a piecing class for beg. to intermediate level quilters. A wonderful
wall hanging for Christmas, Hanukkah or Kwanzaa use a theme fabric &
coordinates to celebrate your own winter holiday.
